DOCTOR OF DENTAL SURGERY & B.SC
Dr. Linda Xie
We are delighted to introduce you to the incredible Dr. Linda Xie. This remarkable woman received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree when she graduated from the University of Alberta in 1996. Dr. Xie was awarded 25 years of excellence in Dentistry by the Alberta Dental Association and College in 2021.
Dr. Xie’s passion for dentistry started when she was a little girl. She always enjoyed hands-on activities such as crafting, engraving, cooking, and making collages. Linda was immediately attracted to dentistry when she realized it was the perfect combination of science and an artistic vision.
Having grown up in Edmonton, Alberta, Dr. Linda Xie is fluent in English, as well as Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese. She gained unique experience and training in dental implants and oral surgery in the last decade. She travelled the world to perform dental surgeries under top mentors in dentistry. Dr. Xie is a member of the Toronto Implant Institute, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the International Congress of Oral Implantology, and The Pankey Institute. Dr. Xie is the founder of the Alberta Implant Study Club. She is passionate about mentoring the younger generations of dentists by sharing her knowledge and experiences in treating challenging cases.
In her spare time, Dr. Xie likes to practice and competes in ballroom dancing, does personal training, and cooks various food for friends and families. She is also very active in volunteering in her church communities.

A Little Bit Of Our History
Our dental clinic was founded in 2004 by Dr. Linda Xie and her mother, Lucy Tse (谢露西). At the time, the dental clinic was named “Callingwood Dental Health Center,” as our office is nicely nestled in the Callingwood neighbourhood in Edmonton, Alberta.
With the dream of becoming a one-stop shop for all dental needs, Dr. Xie decided to expand and rename the clinic “MirrorDentistry” in 2017. During this time, Dr. Xie travelled the world to learn advanced oral surgery in periodontics and implant dentistry under the care of renowned dental surgeons such as Dr. Hilt Tatum, Dr. Istvan Urban, Dr. Homlay Wang, Dr. Natalie Wong, and Dr. William Leang. With these valuable experiences and enhanced skills, Dr. Linda Xie is now happy to be back in Edmonton and providing dental care to her patients.
MirrorDentistry not only provides general preventive care but now also provides services in fillings, extractions, implants, oral surgeries, root canals, and crowns.
